About Us

At just 22, Trinidad and Tobago-born designer Trishelle Leacock founded Kaiso. Swim (formerly Reign.) during her final semester as a track and field student-athlete at the University of Miami. In 2018, she made the bold decision to step away from competition and lean fully into her passion for creativity, drawing inspiration from her island “gyal” upbringing and deep love for swimwear.

Her debut collection, “Trouble,” launched on July 14, 2018, set the tone for a brand rooted in boldness, heritage, and individuality. Today, at 29, Trishelle continues to grow Kaiso. Swim, building a label that celebrates confidence, self-expression, and Caribbean identity.

The name Kaiso. is a tribute to her cultural roots and her vision to bring island soul to the world of swimwear.
